Things get 'Rowdie' in Mrs. Miner's Classroom

Maple Elementary School 4th Grade Teacher Jennifer Miner and her students got quite the surprise on what was an otherwise typical Thursday afternoon.

Rowdie, the beloved mascot of the Indianapolis Indians, stopped by to visit and to make a special delivery to Mrs. Miner. He came 'bear'ing Valentine's Day gifts. The visit was a gift from one of her students and his family — a very special way to show appreciation to a special teacher.

Everybody was surprised, and the students were thrilled to get high fives, signatures, and hugs from Rowdie.
