Mr. Maxwell Brings the OLC Indoors

The Avon Outdoor Learning Center provides students the opportunity to go outside to learn, explore, and play in a seven-acre classroom.

Recently, OLC Coordinator Jeremy Maxwell brought the OLC indoors to share with kindergarten students.

"Mr. Maxell took time to come to all eight Maple Elementary School kindergarten classes to introduce himself, read a nature story, show the garden and the Outdoor Learning Centers to over 145 Kindergarten students," says Kindergarten Teacher Janet Craig. "He was kind to the new little learners and explained how he has an outdoor classroom. This was very informative and helpful."

Mrs. Craig adds, "Bravo to Mr. Maxwell!"
