Meet Maple's New Assistant Principal
Maple Elementary School has hired a new Assistant Prinicpal, Megan Brown. She replaces Melissa McCollum who has transitioned into the same role at River Birch.
This is a homecoming for Megan. She's a proud Avon High School graduate.
Megan has built a career in Texas and Indiana as a kindergarten, third grade, and fourth grade teacher. She has served as a dean and testing coordinator. Most recently, she led professional development and coached teachers in MSD of Pike Township. She holds at bachelor's degree in Art History from Tulane University and a masters degere in Educational Administration from Texas Wesleyan University. She anticipates finishing her doctorate of education in 2026.
