Meet Avon's 2024 Support Staff of the Year
Avon Schools Bus Driver Shirley Brinkman is our 2024 Support Staff of the Year. Shirley gets up at 4:00 am so she can drive 45 minutes to the Transportation Headquarters. She proceeds to drive three routes in the morning and three in the evening before making the 45-minute trek back home. Why does she do it, and what has kept her engine running for 20 years? She loves the community and cherishes the relationships she forms with her precious cargo.
