Maple Students Meet Honest Abe
Maple Elementary School 4th-grade students got to visit the Outdoor Learning Center recently, and they were greeted by Abraham Lincoln. President Lincoln felt right at home in the cabin; it's not unlike the cabin in which he lived during his 14 formative years in Indiana.
Students loved hearing his stories, asking questions, and interacting with our 16th President as they celebrated his 216th birthday and Presidents Day together.
This isn't a tall tale; honest!
