Maple Hosts Family Literacy and Multicultural Night
The staff at Maple Elementary rolled out the red carpet for students and their families at a Family Literacy and Multicultural Night. Their goal was for attendees to understand that everyone at Maple is a VIP — a Very Important Person.
"Our families were invited to participate in sharing their culture with our school community along with engaging in fun-filled literacy activities," says Kristy Lynch, Maple Elementary Title 1 Teacher.
Many students, families, and staff participated, making it a fun, meaningful, and informative event.
