Join the NOVA Running Club

We're pleased to roll out the 2023 NOVA Run Club season! This year's club will be open to any ACSC student from first grade to eighth grade. The club will again be directed by AHS cross country coaches Erin and Zach Toothman, along with other qualified adults who are involved with the Avon community running programs!
We will be meet each Monday and Thursday from 5:00 (drop off at 4:50) until 6:00 pm at Cedar Elementary. Club meetings begin on October 30 and run until December 7 with the exception of Thanksgiving.
The cost for the fall club is $70 and will include a tech long-sleeve t-shirt with our logo on it! Registration will be done online at eventlink.com. Attached is a flyer with a link and QR code for online registration. We will be capping the number of athletes at 120, so be sure to register soon!
While we will group all athletes based on their age and ability to ensure that everyone gets the appropriate attention they deserve, we are also going to offer racing opportunities through the USATF Junior Olympic series for our more competitive athletes! This will include the Indiana Association meet in Shelbyville on November 4, the USATF Junior Olympic Region VII meet in Terre Haute on November 18, and the USATF Junior Olympic National Championship in Louisville, Kentucky on December 9!
We will have an in-person parent meeting for everyone registered on Thursday, October 26 at 6:00 pm in the Avon High School Auditorium to provide more information on the club itself, the fall sessions, the new racing opportunities and USATF membership, and to answer any questions you may have.
